Parker's will bequests numerous enslaved peoples including Darby, George, Bill, Steve, Henry, Lydia, Maria, Lilia, Sam, John, Elbert,Nan,  and Martha. He also stipulates that is his wish that at the age of forty they should all be free and discharged from service except for Darby and Nan who are already older than forty. It also mentions that the children of the female slaves both living at the time of his death or those born after should also be freed at the age of forty. He entrusts his wife will see to this provision.
