Eight children of the Hutchins family posing together in three rows. In the back row, William and James Hutchins, both dressed in overalls, stand to the left. Two girls, Dorothy and Essie Hutchins, stand next to them on the right, wearing dresses. The girl on the end appears to stand on top of something. In the middle row, Pauline Hutchins, wearing a dress and pigtails, stands with an unidentified neighbor boy on the right and Leon Hutchins on the left. The boy on the right wears a suit jacket. In the front, Gertrude Hutchins stands alone and closest to the camera with her hair braided into pigtails. A large building, perhaps a house, can be seen behind the children along with an automobile. The Hutchins family lived in Church Hill, Queen Anne's County, and were farmers. circa 1920
