Community Archive;Oral History
In this interview for the student-led Ebony & Ivory Towers Oral History Initiative, Norris discusses the relationships he developed at Washington College with professors, staff, and students, including one student who would become his future wife. He describes how his education at Washington College prepared him for a career in business. He also reflects upon the progress he believes Chestertown and the college have made in terms of racial equality since the 1960s and 1970s, and how he hopes the Board of Visitors and Governors will collaborate with other groups on campus to implement diversity and inclusion initiatives.
